Son of King Anaxandridas II who was believed to be descendant of Hercules Leonidas was known to possessed brute strength and bravery. Leonidas is the Spartan King who led the elite Spartan warriors during the battle at Thermopylae against the Persians army led by Xerxes. The battle is known as a suicide battle since there is a vast difference between the numbers of there armies.
